Eric Ohlhausen holds an international MBA and has extensive experience growing companies through acquisition, partnership, and strategic sales.
Eric began his professional career as a commercial lender for Bank of America, where he actively prospected for new clients across a wide range of industries and analyzed companies for their creditworthiness. After earning his MBA in England and Japan, Eric helped grow healthcare information business Caredata through its IPO and acquisition of twelve data-related companies. Eric has worked in private equity as an executive in residence for Navigation Capital, with a focus on the financial payments sector. He is co-founder and former CFO of Brightwell Payments, a provider of payroll solutions to the maritime industry with clients around the globe. He has served as CFO and in other executive capacities for several other early-stage technology companies, as well. Eric has worked, studied and traveled in over sixty countries and is comfortable in a wide range of cultures and environments.
Eric graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor of science degree in economics. He subsequently was awarded a Masters in Business Administration with Distinction from England’s Manchester Business School. During his MBA program, Eric studied at the International University of Japan, whose business school was formed in collaboration with Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
